Academy Alumni European Reunion

This event is open to alumni of the Academy of American and International Law. Details are being finalized, but the event will consist primarily of sightseeing and social events. Provisional Program

Thursday, October 10

• 7:00 PM: Welcome and drinks
• 8:00 PM: Dinner at one of Bucharest's rooftop restaurants, followed by an optional visit to Bucharest's Old Center.

Friday, October 11

• 9:00 AM: Intensive collective study at The Central University Library or a similar place.
• Late Morning: A 1-1.5 hour walk visiting several Bucharest landmarks on the way to our lunch restaurant.
• Afternoon: Visit to the Old Parliament House, now the Palace of the Patriarchy. We will also try to visit the new Parliament House (formerly The House of People), one of the largest buildings in the world.
• 7:00 - 8:00 PM: Dinner immersed in the interbelic Bucharest atmosphere.

Saturday, October 12

• Day Trip: Visit to Ploiesti, a place of history, culture, and civilization, known for the significant Revolution of 1870 and as Crina's hometown.
• Wine Tour: Explore Romanian vineyards and wine-making traditions, complemented by typical Romanian food.

Sunday, October 13

• For those without early flights, we can suggest visits or short trips.
